Mufti Day 2nd August

Mufti Day 2nd August

Our first Mufti Day is next Wednesday, 3rd of August where we will be collecting Children’s Books, CDs and DVDs.  Items must be in good condition and will be collected on the morning of the 2nd outside the school hall between 8.45 and 9.15am.

Remember:  Children can wear play clothes to school on Mufti Days instead of their regular school uniform and in exchange, are asked to bring a donation for one of the Spring Fair Stalls, either in the form of a gold coin donation or an item that fits into that week’s Mufti theme. The first Mufti Day is for Children’s Books for the Book Stall.

Helping at our Spring Fair

Spring Fair is an important fund raising activity for Eastwood Public School and allows us to raise money which will be used to directly provide resources for our school and improve your child’s education. Please consider giving your time to assist in making the day a success by volunteering to help at one of the stalls.

We would appreciate it if you could help me out for at least 2 or 3 hours. Volunteering to help for 2 hours or more entitles you to purchase a discounted rides bracelet. You must sign up to help before the 24th August to qualify. Helpers can sign-up online to help on a stall or activity.

Here’s how it works in 3 easy steps:

  1. Click on this link to see our Sign-ups at: http://signup.com/go/enpVrve (or copy it into your internet browser’s address line)
  2. Review the stalls and actives listed and choose the one(s) you like. You also get to choose your preferred time for helping too.
  3. Sign up! It’s Easy – you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password

Your email address will not be shared with anyone.
If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact your selected stallholder and they can sign you up manually.
Lookout for messages from mail@signup.com – with messages from your stallholder, or the organisers. (Add it to your address book)

Rides Bracelets

Volunteering to help at Spring Fair for 2 hours or more entitles you to purchase a discounted rides bracelet (30% off) for your children to use at Spring Fair. You must sign up to help before the 24th August to qualify.

Rides bracelets entitle you to unlimited rides on all rides set up on the area in front of Q block, basketball courts (for littlies) and carpark. Excluded from the rides bracelets are the independent: Pony rides; bungee, ladder and water bubble.

We will email an invitation with a link to buy the bracelet to all those helpers listed on the volunteer site (with an email address) who have 2 hours or more registered. We will be using a secure online payment tool for you to pay via credit card.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship

Are you a business owner or do you know someone who owns a business in our local area? If so, why not join many of the generous owners in providing sponsorship for our Spring Fair? By contributing goods or monetary donations, your children will be benefited directly. In return, your name will be listed on the school website and displayed on the day of Spring Fair for the whole Eastwood community to see your generosity! Interested?

Please contact Ying Radnidge on 0432 532 487 or yradnidge@hotmail.com for details.
