Today is the last day of school for 2010. It is summer here in Australia and the days are long and hot. We have many people who visit our blog from all over the world, some from places where it is cold and snowing. We would like to share an Australian Christmas song with you, Aussie Jingle Bells. The tune you will know but the words are different and will tell you about some of the celebrations that are very different in our country.

The school year is fast coming to a close. There are only a few more days left for the children before they say goodbye to kindergarten. This week we had our end of year presentation performance “Possum Magic” based on the very popular story of the same name by author Mem Fox. The children in K-2 sang well and received a class graduation certificate for all their hard work this year.

It’s that time of year when we can have lots of fun with paint, glitter, glue and all things sparkling. We painted and decorated some Christmas trees and we think they look very festive!
