What about going to the theatre? Everybody loved watching ‘The Gruffalo’ last term-so much fun, real actors singing and dancing! Why not go and see ‘Cinderella’ at the Marion Street Theatre in Killara then you can tell us all about it when we get back to school!

Everyone was very excited about the mini fete. There were lots of things to do, including mini golf, a chocolate wheel, candy kebabs, face painting, crazy hair, movies and popcorn, a haunted house, guessing games, skittles, an internet cafe and the very popular “Soak the Teacher”. A great time was had by all!

Spider Maths!

We have been working on our combinations for numbers up to twenty. We try hard to remember to count on from one number to the next. This week we used the spider math mats to help us and luckily these spiders can’t bite.

We seem to be doing a lot of cooking and eating at the moment and this week we made mashed potato and porridge. The porridge was made from oats and we just added some water, sugar and milk and cooked it in the microwave for about 3 minutes. The mashed potato was a little trickier but in the end everybody thought they were both delicious. We think our kindergarten cafe rules!
