It’s summer and time for us to have our long holiday. We had fun at our party. We went to the park, had some pizza and played and danced all day at school with our friends. We are now all grown up and have learnt lots of things and we are excited to be going to Year 1 in 2013!

MERRY XMAS and HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

George from KA has a pet goat. The goat’s name is George too! George the goat is one week old. He is very cute and so well behaved. He let us pat him and feel his little horns. He has hooves, not feet and drinks milk but he is not a jumping goat. His hair is soft and grey. We think George is very lucky to have his own pet goat! Thank you to George’s mum for bringing him to school, we had a great time!

Every week all the Kindergarten classes meet in the hall for an assembly. We sing some songs, ask questions and try to guess what’s in the mystery bag and then show our good work. We are very good listeners aren’t we?

This week was very exciting and lots of fun. On Tuesday our buddies came to our class and we helped them to make their hats and then we went outside for an egg hunt. On Wednesday it was time for the Easter Hat parade. Kindergarten had fabulous hats that we had made at home and we showed them off to all our friends and family. After the parade our mums, dads and grandparents stayed to have lunch with us. We then went to the hall for the Easter raffle and lots of children went home with chocolate prizes and just a little bit tired!

This week we went to the hall with the whole school for the Cultural Assembly. It was very exciting with lion dancers, Korean and Chinese fan dancers, some Taekwondo and some fantastic Korean drumming. Some of our parents watched too. We dressed up in our national costumes and we looked very colourful.

We have been back at school for a couple of weeks now and all the new Kindergarten children are settling in well. It has been a very busy time learning all about big school and making new friends.

The year is fast coming to a close. Some parents were unable to attend our end of year presentation performance to see the children receive their certificate so here it is again.

We are learning about food and healthy eating so this week KA made fruit kebabs!  Some helpful mums cut the fruit up for us.  We put lots of different fruits on the skewer.  Can you see all the different types of fruit we used?   They were fun to make and so yummy to eat.  We all want to try making them at home with our mums and dads!
